The Winter Blues Festival comes to Brunswick Ballroom!The iconic Winter Blues Festival in Echuca VIC celebrated its 25th event this year, with over 10,000 people flooding the venues and spaces of the historic town.
Not wanting Melbourne to miss out on the action, the Winter Blues Festival is presenting a sideshow of epic blues talent at The Brunswick Ballroom on September 21.
Headlining the event is guitar master Lloyd Spiegel with his trio, a man who needs little introduction in Australian Blues circles. He’ll be joined by Bill Barber & The Holding Cell, launching their new album Southern Redemption. This band from Victoria’s Goldfields brings raw Southern‑rock energy and authentic blues rock vibes.
Rounding out the bill are outstanding guitarists Kathleen Halloran, and Brett Wood, along with Ingrid and the Ministers - each delivering their own special take on the blues, backed by their own bands.
Whether you were in Echuca for the Winter Blues Festival or not, don’t miss this epic five band mini festival in the comfort of one of Melbourne’s great band rooms.
A share of profits from ticket sales will help fund the hard work of the volunteer Winter Blues committee.
