Join members of NZ Barok and guest tutors for an intensive weekend exploring the art of Baroque performance.
10–12 July 2026 |University of Auckland
Designed for professional musicians, university students, and advanced secondary school players, the academy includes:
• Practical sessions on period instruments (or modern instruments with Baroque bows)
• Orchestral rehearsals and sectionals
• Lectures and demonstrations
• Informal concert performance
Instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, viola da gamba, recorder, and harpsichord.
