The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Celebrate the Winter Solstice and the return of daylight with us with a 1 mile luminary walk around Fir Grove Park! The walk will begin at the north end of the Green Bridge, outside of the VA entrance. Park in the Riverfront Disc Golf Area Parking Area or Fir Grove Park Parking Lot.Following the walk, warm up with a cozy Solstice cider, decorate a Yule tree, and take the opportunity to reflect on the season by adding your hopes for 2025 and what you’d like to release from 2024.
