Calling all thrill-seekers - have we got a challenge for you! Take a heart-pounding walk on the wing of a plane high above the Lincolnshire countryside in our new aerial challenge for 2026.

Where: Wickenby Aerodrome, Lincoln
You can book one of our pre-arranged slots with our partner, The Wing Walk Company to fly from Wickenby Aerodrome .
You’ll need to pay a registration fee, but the rest of the cost is covered as long as you raise at least £599.
Certainly not for the faint-hearted, you’ll need to be 18 years old or over and weigh less than 89kgs. .

Please note each wingwalk costs the hospice £440.
For sponsorship funded spaces you must have raised enough to cover the cost to wing walk by the time the walk takes place or you risk your wing walk being postponed or cancelled.
Self-funded fee: £440 Sponsorship Pledge: £225
Alternatively you can self fund and pay for the wing walk in total meaning all the money you raise goes directly to the Hospice.
What to expect on the day
A warm welcome by The Wing Walk Company Team
A 15-minute briefing video which shows you; how to climb up to the rig, what to expect from your Wing Walk and Health and Safety procedures.
Please allow 2 hours between your health & safety briefing and completing your Wing Walk
A 10-minute airborne flight • Opportunity to tailor your flight with the Pilot to either achieve the maximum adrenaline experience for you or a more relaxed flight
Viewing area in front of the aircraft for friends and family to come and watch
Option to purchase a recording of your Wing Walk from 2 on-board HD camera’s, with Pilot commentary at an additional price of £50 which is available for you to take home with you straight away
A certificate to confirm the completion of your Wing Walk Experience
Weight restrictions
The Wing Walker must be aged between 18 - 80 years of age.
The maximum weight is 89kgs (14st) (with clothes & shoes on)
The maximum height is 6ft 2inches (189cm)
When you sign up for a Wing Walk you certify that you weigh no more than 89kgs (14st) and is not taller than 6ft 2inches (189cm).
On the day of your Wing Walk you will be weighed; if you are over 89kgs (14st) or taller than 6ft 2inches (189cm); due to the rules set by the Civil Aviation Authority, you will not able to Wing Walk and the charity will still be charged for the booking. Or, if you wish a friend or family member can do the wingwalk on your behalf.
