About this Event
The Mâcon (or Mâconnais) is a southern region of Burgundy France, and is a great location to find fine, elegant Burgundian wines at a more approachable pricepoint. With wine prices skyrocketing, Burgundian wine is quickly becoming a premium product that is out of the price range of most casual wine drinkers. However, you can still find an incredible deal in the Mâcon. With prestigious subregions such as Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, and Viré-Clessé, this region still holds up to the fine Burgundian reputation.
Join us for a casual seated wine class where we will discuss the history and terroir of the Mâcon region and taste through six of our favorite expressions with our Wine Director, Erin Dudley
Included with your ticket:
- Seated wine class with certified sommelier and Neighborhood Restaurant Group Wine Director, Erin Dudley CSW
- Tasting of six fine wines from Burgundy
- Small serving of artisanal cheese and accoutrements
