Wines from Abruzzo: TasteVino Masterclass - Valle Reale

Abruzzo is a magnificent region in the central part of Italy: enclosed West by the Alps and by the Adriatic sea East, its wine stems from the fresh mountain air, the influx of the sea and a thousand year old winemaking tradition.

VALLE REALE - The Winemaker

Adapting to the climatic conditions of the mountain environment is not easy and only certain grapes have the ability to generate wines with a strong personality.

Here, immersed in the heart of uncontaminated and wild nature, Leonardo Pizzolo, founder of Valle Reale, has decided to cultivate only two native vines, Montepulciano and Trebbiano, which give life to wines with characteristics that are very different from the wine production of the coast.

NATURE FIRST - Biodynamic agriculture

The goal is to produce wines from the Abruzzo mountains, influenced exclusively by the environment that surrounds them and not by the hand of man. It is for this reason that during his journey he decides to make wine through spontaneous fermentations.
