We are excited to announce that during Bergen Vinfest our good friend Carl Ehrhard will be visiting Norway and on Saturday the 4th of May we are hosting a winemakers lunch at Banzha!Our authentic Yunnanese menu goes hand in hand with german riesling and we will showcase this through the combination of different levels of spice and umami flavour paired with vibrant and refreshing riesling from the Rheingau region in Germany

Carl lives in Rüdesheim, a small town in Rheingau, Germany. He makes wines from Riesling, Roter Riesling and Spätburgunder, using old techniques that shows the outstanding terroir of some of the best vineyards of Rheingau. Berg Rottland, Berg Roseneck, Bischofsberg to name a few of them!
Everything is handpicked, selected by hand and there is no filtration or added sulphites, and then given plenty of time in the cellar to develop into an amazing wine experience.
Carl is the only winemaker in Germany to be named best newcomer twice in the Vinum wine guide of Germany.
