JOHN DUVAL WINES TASTING, hosted by Tim Duval.It's wine time, Toowoomba! Fitzy's next glorious Wine Tasting event is coming to you on Friday June 21 from 5.30-7pm. And guess what, you're invited!
Held in our stunning room, The Atrium this FREE EVENT will showcase our favs from John Duval Wines with the event hosted by Wine Maker extraordinaire, Tim Duval.
John Duval is one of the world's best known winemakers, coming from a family that boasts four generations of South Australian vignerons. He has been saluted many times on the world stage, notably International Winemaker of the Year in 1989 and twice Red Winemaker of the Year in 1991 and 2000. After 28 years with Penfolds, including 16 years as Chief Winemaker, John has created these stunning wines under the John Duval label, which has now welcomed second generation Tim on board. Utilising old vine Barossa fruit, the wines express the terroir of the Barossa and the hand-crafted attention of John Duval.
Kick off your weekend the right way, sipping varietals from this exciting winemaker, nibble on delicious antipasto and soak up the expertise and generally epic wine chat from Ramon Arnavas & Fitzy's own Sommelier, Pete Barbe. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase any of the cracking feature wines on the night.
