Recently more than 70 dogs and cats were found emaciated and near dying located in a school bus in Galveston State Park. The GIHS stepped up to rescue many of these animals and provide them the medical care they urgently need. These animals were found in deplorable conditions and the costs associated with their recovery are considerable. Raising funds for the care of these animals is critical!!!
