Q: How much are tickets?
A: Discounted tickets can be purchased for a limited time for $35 each online at http://bit.ly/419CCmE. A link for ticket sales is also on the FestivALL website.
Tickets can also be purchased at The Wine Shop at The Capitol Market in Charleston through June 16th. Online ticket sales will end on Friday June 16th at 9:00pm. Tickets will be available the day of the festival for $45 at the Main Gate.

Q: Will there be anything to drink other than wine?
A: Yes! We will have an awesome selection of craft brews and national brand beers, along with a variety of seltzers! Additionally, many of our food vendors will be selling soft drinks and water. Also, West Virginia American Water will be providing FREE water with their “H2O On The Go” van! Feel free to bring your own EMPTY water bottle to fill up throughout the day.

Q: Tell me more about the beer and seltzers!
A: We will have multiple craft beers to choose from, several national brand beers, Truly Berry Seltzer, along with four refreshing flavors of Simply Spiked Lemonade in cans! Beers are 16 oz pours, with the seltzers being 12 oz. Please note that we are limited to serving you a maximum of five beers and/or seltzers for the duration of the festival (your wristband will be marked for each beer you are served). All sales will be cash only and will end at 9:30pm (an ATM is onsite).

Q: I bought my ticket online, what do I need to show at the gate to get into the festival?
A: You do NOT need to print out your ticket. You will show your I.D. at the Main Gate to receive your wristband for entry. PLEASE NOTE: Each ticket holder's name MUST be listed at the time of online ticket purchase and TICKET HOLDER MUST PRESENT THEIR OWN I.D. THAT MATCHES THE TICKET HOLDER NAME.

Q: Can I buy tickets at the festival?
A: Yes, tickets will be available at the Main Gate on the day of the event for $45 each, payable by cash or credit/debit card.

Q: What does my ticket include?
A: The ticket price covers all of the musical acts that will be performing throughout the seven-hour festival (including some awesome nationally-acclaimed artists!). Wineries also provide free wine tastings, but wines by the glass or bottle are purchased separately. Beer and food can also be purchased separately.

Q: Are Designated Driver / non-drinking tickets available?
A: First and foremost, PLEASE don’t even think about drinking and driving. Free taxi rides up to 10 miles going home will be available through C&H Taxi via their IntoxiTaxi service, so please take advantage of it. The IntoxiTaxis will be available outside the Main Gate exit.
Most of the costs of our festival go towards the musical entertainment and facilities. Thus, like all concerts, all ticket prices are the same, regardless of whether someone drinks or not.

Q: What do I do if I would like to volunteer at the festival and receive free tickets for doing so?
A: You can sign up to volunteer at https://signup.com/go/WRARunj . You will receive one free ticket if you volunteer for two hours, and two free tickets if you volunteer for at least 3 ½ hours!

Q: If I volunteer, when and where can I get my free ticket(s)?
A: Regardless of the day or time of your volunteer slot(s), you may pick up your free festival ticket(s) any time after 10:00AM on Saturday June 17th at the Volunteer Check-In tent outside the Main Gate. If you have any questions regarding the volunteer time slots, please send an email to [email protected].

Q: Where do I enter the festival?
A: The Main Gate is located between Riggleman Hall and the Geary Student Union, and will open at 2:30pm. Patrons may exit the festival through the Main Gate, the East End exit or the West End exit. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO ENTRY/RE-ENTRY AT THE EAST END AND WEST END EXITS. All festival-goers must enter/re-enter through the Main Gate. Additionally, there will NOT be a gate above the UC boat dock this year and there will be no admission via the UC boat dock.

Q: Can I take the sternwheeler river taxi to and from Haddad Riverfront Park/the festival?
A: Unfortunately, we have been informed that there will NOT be a sternwheeler river taxi this year. HOWEVER, we have arranged to have FREE KRT shuttles to/from UC and downtown! Downtown pickup will be beside Chase Bank on Summers Street, and UC pickup will be in front of the Geary Student Union. The shuttle will run a loop from 2:30pm to 7:00pm, and will also run from UC to downtown from 9:45pm to 11:00pm.

Q: Where do I park?
A: The University of Charleston parking garage and other UC parking lots will be available for FREE parking (excluding some areas that will be reserved for vendors, etc.). Additionally, KRT will be running a FREE shuttle to and from the TC Energy (Columbia Gas) parking lots from 5pm until 10:30pm. You can also flag down the shuttle from any location to catch a ride!

Q: Are pets or tents allowed into the festival?
A: Unfortunately, as much as we love pets, we have to leave them at home for the festival due to insurance requirements, health regulations and safety concerns. Only tents that are being used by sponsors and vendors are permitted.

Q: Are coolers allowed into the festival?
A: You may bring a SMALL cooler (10 quart size or smaller) that contains ice or snacks, if you would like. Please keep in mind that ALL COOLERS WILL BE SEARCHED. Also, ABSOULUTELY NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES MAY BE BROUGHT INTO THE FESTIVAL OTHER THAN SEALED WATER BOTTLES. Also, please do NOT dump any ice on the lawn (there are storm drains around campus where you can dump your ice, if needed).

Q: May I bring chairs or blankets into the festival?
A: Yes! But please keep in mind that all items are subject to being searched for security purposes.

Q: Are children allowed to attend the festival?
A: Absolutely! Children 12 and under get into the festival for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Children that are older than 12 but under 21 years of age may also attend, but will need to have a ticket for entrance. Wristbands for festival-goers under the age of 21 will indicate that they are not permitted to be served any alcoholic beverages.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We get wet and still have an awesome time!

Q: Where does the money go that is raised at the festival?
A: Proceeds from the Wine & Jazz Music Festival go to the Fund for the Arts’s 11 local arts organizations to be used to further strengthen and enhance the arts in our community. Visit our website at https://fundfortheartswv.org to learn more.
