About this Class: Sit at our table and learn from one of our resident Beverage Experts and Chefs as they guide you through the world of Roman dishes and regional wines. Together, they’ll walk you through a tasting journey featuring some of Rome’s iconic antipasti, thoughtfully paired with wines that bring out the traditional flavors. You’ll not only discover how to match different appetizers and dishes with their ideal vini, but you’ll also learn the stories and traditions behind these beloved Roman staples.

About this Region: Meet Lazio – a region rich in culinary and agricultural heritage. Lazio offers a diverse landscape that lends itself to distinctive wines and iconic pasta traditions. In this class, you’ll taste your way through some of the region’s celebrated producers while learning about the history, ingredients, and techniques that make Lazio’s gastronomy unique. Discover how the region’s terroir and time-honored food culture influence the wines and dishes that have come to define this central Italian territory.

In this Class You Will:

• Taste a selection of wines and a curated pasta pairing prepared by Eataly’s chef

• Enjoy a welcome wine, and two selected wines with an antipasto and salumi & formaggi pairing.

• Learn to taste wine and choose pairings like an expert

Payment, refund and cancellation policies

Payment in full is required at the time of registration and all sales are final. No refunds are offered on classes and events due to limited space in our schools. For groups of 5-10 guests, a minimum of 7 days' notice is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon for a future class or event. For groups of up to 4 guests, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon code for a future class or event at La Scuola. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class or event due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather or otherwise. In the event of a class or event cancellation, we will contact you directly at the phone number or email address you have provided to offer a full refund or credit to transfer to a future class or event. While we are not able to offer credit, transfers or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, personal emergencies or events beyond our control, you are always welcome to send someone in your place, as we understand that these things do happen. If you are purchasing this class or event as a gift, please provide this cancellation policy to the recipient, as the policy will still apply. Credits issued for La Scuola events are redeemable ONLY for future La Scuola events and cannot be used to register for events in other parts of the marketplace or exchanged for store credit or Eataly gift cards.
