This is an opportunity to have wine, maybe a bite and hear three great poets Lex Runciman, Stephanie Lenox and Bethany Lee. Chemeketa Cellars/Northwest Wine Studies Center

An Oregonian born and raised, Lex Runciman has published seven books of poems, including The Admirations, winner of the Oregon Book Award, and most recently Unlooked For, from Salmon Poetry (2022). His poem on the Willamette Valley leads off that section in the Cascadia Field Guide. He also has three poems in the recently published The Grace of Oregon Rain. He lives in Portland.
Stephanie Lenox is the author of two full-length poetry collections, The Business and Congress of Strange People. With H. K. Hummel, she co-authored Short-Form Creative Writing: A Writer’s Guide and Anthology and co-founded Blood Orange Review, an online literary journal now run by Washington State University's English department. As an enrolled member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, she takes weekly classes in Bodwéwadmimwen, the language of her tribe, an experience that informs her most recent poems about language and family. She lives in Salem, Oregon, where she works for Chemeketa Press, the academic publishing arm of Chemeketa Community College.
Bethany Lee lives and writes in Lafayette, Oregon in a house at the edge of the woods. Her writing is often inspired by the space at the edge of things--her experiences as a hospice harpist, the year she spent traveling by sea, and the deep silence of her Quaker practice. She is the poetry editor at Untold Volumes, works as a composer and musician, and recently released her third poetry collection, The Coracle and the Copper Bell, and a memoir, Close to the Surface, about the year her family spent traveling at sea, both from Fernwood Press. Her work has been published in multiple anthologies and in VoiceCatcher, Kosmos Quarterly, Geez Magazine, and other journals. Find out more about her writing or music at bethanyjoylee.com.
