Wine and Wicks

Allen Beeler is sharing his secrets to making amazing soy candles! Join us as he leads us through candle-making basics; wax vs. soy, types of wicks, containers, dyes, fragrances, labeling, lids, processing materials, creating your own product, packaging, and marketing.

Everyone will get hands-on experience, a glass of wine and leave with 3 candles perfect for Christmas: Sugar Cookie, Balsam and Cedar, and Mistletoe Kisses.

The class will be held outside, under our tent. This event is rain or shine. All materials, instruction and a glass of wine are included in the ticket price. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Please bring a valid ID. Any participant under the age of 21 or without a valid ID is welcome but will receive a glass of grape juice during the class. Local meat and cheese trays and well as additional glasses of wine, slushies, and ciders are available for purchase during the class. Arrive at least 30 minutes early for a $4 wine tasting to try 8 of our wines and choose your favorites.
