The International Cat Association (TICA) joins the International Kennel Club of Chicago (IKC) to bring the largest cat and dog extravaganza to the Chicago area this November. The TICA Windy City Cats Great American Cat Show and the IKC Great American Dog Show will take place November 22-24, 2024 at the Renaissance Convention Center in Schamburg, Illinois.

Closest airport:
The closest major airport is Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). The club is unable to provide transportation to and from the airport. It is about 13 miles, 25 minutes from the airport to the show hall/show hotel. Show hotel recommends American Taxi - call 1-847-673-1000; fee: 26 USD (one way) : $26 - One-way, $52 - Round Trip
SHOW HOURS:
Friday, Check-in 1-2 PM. Show starts at 2:30 PM & runs until done.
Saturday, Check-in 8-8:30 AM, Show hours 9 AM - 4 PM
Sunday, Show hours 9 AM - 4 PM
All cats must remain in the show hall during advertised show hours to the public unless permission to leave is given by show management. No cats may be left overnight in the show hall.

Hotel is $10 less per night than Renaissance. Same Pet fee $75 for stay, not per night.
SHUTTLE SERVICE arranged to the Show Hall. 3 times in the am and pm from hotel to convention center and return. 2 shuttles will run. Signup at front desk.
Less than 10 minutes from Convention Center, free parking for those driving.

Registration:
To show a cat in a TICA, your cat must be able to be registered in TICA. If not already TICA registered, pedigree cats must provide proof of registerability to enter. This can include registration paperwork from another recognized registry, pedigree, or similar information. Contact the entry clerk for more information and assistance. Cats competing in the household pet and household pet kitten classes do not need to be registered or provide proof that they can be registered. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional/International awards, all cats (other than household pet kittens), must be registered with TICA before competing in their second show.
