Windrush Tea Party

Come and celebrate the legacy and contributions of the Caribbean community in Britain at the Windrush Tea Party on the 21st June at Museum Square at New Walk from 12-8PM

This event will have an equipped stage with musical guests and special performers, food and cultural stalls for shopping, a kids activity space, a dominoes corner, and plenty of space for you all to relax and enjoy the day!

Who's performing this year?

This years event will be hosted by televisions John Simmit with musical performances from reggae legend Tann-i Browne, EAGA Choir, Leicester Community Radio, Imani Ahiro, and much more!

There is also a Caribbean infused High Tea available for £30 per person.

Here, in your own sheltered area of the square, we will provide you with a classic High Tea service with a Caribbean twist. With unlimited access around the sqaure and your own space to rest and refresh, all you have to do is sit back and absorb the atmosphere around you!

This open event will have you all dancing and laughing in the gold June sun, with a belly full of food to make you feel irie!
