About this Event

For Black History Month we celebrate the enduring legacy of the Windrush Generation, the men, women, and families from across the British Empire who were invited to Britain to help rebuild the nation after the devastation of World War II. The Windrush generation stand as a powerful reminder of the lasting contributions to modern Britain made by Black people from both the Caribbean and African diasporas between 1948 and 1971.
