About this Event
Wind Wolves Preserve is seeking community volunteers with an interest in environmental stewardship and outdoor education to join our docent program! Previous experience is not required.
ELIGIBILTY:
- 18 years of age or older
- able to volunteer at least 40 hours per year
- reliable transportation
- attendance at an orientation session

WHAT TO EXPECT - ORIENTATION DAY:
Meet at the Wind Wolves Preserve Administrative Center at 9:30 am. The Preserve's address is 16019 Maricopa Highway in Bakersfield, California. After you turn south off Maricopa Highway, continue on the road, through the main gate, and turn right at the fork, following signs for the Administrative Center. Orientation will be about 3 hours long, including breaks. Water and light snacks will be provided. Please only sign up for one day, as we will cover the same material on both Saturday and Sunday.
