Led by Dr. Jeremy Harmon, the Wind Symphony portion of the concert will feature music by John Barnes Chance, Julie Giroux, Andrew Boysen, Jr., and John Philip Sousa.
Under the direction of Dr. LaToya A. Webb, the Wind Ensemble will feature music by Zhou Tian, Haley Woodrow, Richard Wagner, and Vincent Persichetti. The Ensemble will also premiere Harrison J. Collin's two movement work titled, Soulsongs which is designed to musically encapsulate two life-ideas that have helped him and which he hopes to share with others: 1.) You gotta love, and 2.) You gotta fight for love. The concert will conclude with a large-scale work titled, Symphony for Band by Vincent Persichetti.
The Ensembles will be guest conducted by the following two Graduate Assistants:
Ewerton Siqueira Ravelli, Master of Music in Wind Conducting
Bryen Warfield, Doctor of Arts in Wind Conducting

Tickets available through the College of Fine Arts Box Office located at Sursa Hall starting August 1.

General Public: $10 in advance / $12 at the door
Seniors: $8 in advance / $10 at the door
BSU Faculty/Staff: $8 in advance / $10 at the door
Students: free* in advance / $5 at the door
*One (1) free student ticket per ID is available in advance (before 5 p.m. on the night of the concert) at the College of Fine Arts Box Office
