In 2022 we will be doing a 2000 point army giveaway! The way to get an entry in to the drawing is by completing 12 hobby tasks in 2022. Any person who completes all 12 will be given one entry for the drawing which will take place on the last minute of 2022.The 12 hobby tasks are:
- Painting a unit that is at least 150 points and playing a game with that unit.
- Attending a paint event at Galactic
- Painting two units that are at least 150 points each
- Playing two 2000 point games
- Bringing a friend and teach them how to play the game, alternatively, learn a game from a friend.
- Buying a novel from Galactic, reading it, then posting your thoughts about it on the Facebook page
- Planing out a paint scheme on paper or in a design app and then painting a model using that scheme
- Attending a tournament at Galactic
- Painting a model that is at least 500 points
- Painting a unit with at least 20 models in it
- Winning a prize at a Galactic tournament
- Painting a miniature using a technique you learned from someone else and sharing that method on the Facebook page
(All these tasks are also ways to earn entries in the monthly 'Paint & Play' drawings.
The number of entries you can have completed at any given time is equal to the amount of months that have passed. For example, at the end of January you can have a maximum of one entry completed, at the end of August you can have a maximum of eight entries completed, and so on. This means that hypothetically you could wait until December and do them all but it is not recommended.
