This event is primarily outside in the courtyard.
Put yourself in the expert hands of certified WHM Instructor Christopher Dooley to learn the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method. Find out how you can utilize oxygen and cold exposure to optimize body & mind and learn about the underlying physiology.
The class kicks off with a short introduction to the Wim Hof Method and its three pillars – Breath, Cold and Commitment. The instructor briefly covers safety, and any effects you might experience during the session, before explaining the basic WHM breathing technique. You’ll then bring your consciousness to body & breath for several rounds of WHM breathing. The instructor will guide you throughout the session. We'll have snacks (the good stuff, not bars), and then get into the introduction of the cold and more science. If you choose to participate in the ice bath, we'll be doing that closer to the end of the session.
What to bring: yoga mat, water bottle, swimwear, towel, change of clothes (you will have time to change into your swimwear, or you can wear it to class).
The ice bath is optional!
What is the Wim Hof Method?
The Wim Hof Method is a way to tap into the hidden power of oxygen and cold exposure; two natural resources that used to be part of our everyday lives throughout most of our evolutionary history, but that have been almost completely lost to the comforts of modern society.

Who is this class for?
This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.
