About this Event
Led by Cian Dalton, an experienced Wim Hof Method facilitator, this session offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of your body’s natural ability to heal and recover through breathwork and cold immersion.
How Does It Help?
As you focus on healing your gut, mental strength becomes just as crucial. By incorporating breathwork and cold plunges, you’ll learn to balance stress and calm your mind. These practices directly support mental health, helping to reduce anxiety, sharpen focus, and build emotional resilience—key components of gut-brain health.
The Wim Hof Method integrates powerful techniques to:
- Strengthen the Mind: Through guided breathwork, you’ll learn to shift your mental state and tap into deep levels of calm and focus.
- Build Resilience: Cold plunges are a powerful way to test and build resilience, providing you with mental tools that extend beyond the cold—tools that are crucial for overcoming daily challenges.
- Support Mental Health: Cold therapy, paired with breathwork, helps you reset your nervous system and reduce stress, making it a natural complement to the Gut Health Challenge.
What You’ll Experience:
- Breathwork Journey: A 20-30 minute guided session where you will be taken on a breath journey set to curated music. This helps you tap into your nervous system and shift into a state of calm and focus.
- Ice Bath: Safely experience the benefits of cold exposure through a guided ice bath. Cold therapy is known for its ability to strengthen the mind, improve mental clarity, and support overall mental health.
- Movement & Connection: The workshop also includes moments of movement and shared intentions, building a sense of community and empowerment.
Why Cold Therapy?
Wim Hof, often known as “The Iceman,” developed his method of breathwork and cold exposure after experiencing deep personal grief. Following the tragic loss of his wife, Hof faced intense emotional pain and mental struggles. In his search for healing, he discovered that the cold and breathwork allowed him to manage his grief and mental health in a profound way. These tools gave him a sense of control over his emotions and stress, and soon, his techniques became known worldwide for their ability to help others overcome both physical and mental challenges.
Today, Wim Hof’s method has gained global recognition for its power to improve mental health, boost immunity, and build resilience. By exposing the body to the cold, paired with controlled breathing techniques, you can unlock a level of strength and mental clarity that supports not just your gut health but your entire well-being.
