Celebrate the holiday season with Wilson Borough at our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on Friday, December 1st, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. First, the Wilson Borough Lions Club will be stationed at the Strausser Community Center, offering complimentary hot drinks and snacks to the community, along with a craft station for the children. Celebrate Wilson will have the apparel stand there for anyone looking to purchase some Christmas gifts.Next, Santa Claus will make his grand entrance into the Borough, escorted by the Wilson Borough Police Department and Fire Department. He will be available to meet with children before and after the tree lighting.
At 7:00 PM, we'll gather in the heart of Meuser Park for the official tree lighting ceremony. Feel free to stay and capture the moment with pictures by the beautifully lit tree or enjoy some festive tunes performed by members of the Wilson Area High School Band. For those seeking warmth and more time with Santa, you can return to the community center before he heads back to the North Pole to prepare for the Christmas season.
