The 45th Annual Willy Street Fair will be held on Sunday, September 18 from 11AM to 7PM on the 800, 900 and 1000 blocks of Williamson Street. This beloved street festival will have 3 stages of music with great food, beverages, arts and crafts, kids' activities, and plenty of vendors and non-profit groups lining the street.Sunday’s festivities begin with the wonderfully eclectic People's Parade at 11 AM. Everyone is welcome to march in the parade behind the vintage 1964 Cadillac "Bubblemobile". Troy Rutter will have the RPCV banner and a selection of country flags at the booth (likely located in the 800 or 900 block) in case anyone wants to march and represent our group in the parade. Marchers should plan to assemble around 10:30 behind the Bubblemobile at the I/O Arcade parking lot.
Once the parade has marched by, the fair begins, and RPCVs are needed to help staff our table. If you would like to hand out Peace Corps information and help sell some of our calendars and notecards (or just people-watch from our comfortably canopied table), please email Troy Rutter, [email protected].
10:45~noon - People's Parade
noon ~ 6 pm - staffed table for information and sales, with music as a backdrop.
