Wills for Teachers | Millbrook Magnet Elementary

Wills for Heroes is a free legal clinic offered by the North Carolina Bar Foundation. Volunteer attorneys draft simple wills, health care power of attorney, financial power of attorney, and advance directives for first responders and their families, free of charge. Recognizing the critical role educators play in shaping future generations, the North Carolina Bar Foundation has extended its services to teachers, offering them and their families the same essential legal documents.

Teachers who are eligible for this clinic are those from the Millbrook Magnet Elementary School.

The Wills for Teachers clinic is conducted in a part-virtual/in-person format. The in-person notary clinic will be held at the 1520 E Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC 27609.

By completing this registration, you are committing to one virtual appointment on April 7, 2025, and an in-person drop-in on April 8, 2025.

VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT: A 3 p.m. virtual/Zoom meeting on April 7, 2025, to meet with a volunteer attorney to review your client questionnaire and prepare your documents. A Zoom meeting link will be emailed to you before the clinic; you must be able to access a Zoom meeting via a computer or mobile phone to participate.

IN-PERSON NOTARY CLINIC: Drop-in hours with a notary to print and sign your documents held at Millbrook Magnet Elementary, 1520 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609, on April 8, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.. No appointment is necessary, you will be able to drop in at a time that fits your schedule.
