CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS WITH WILLOWGREEN!

Duluth-based Willowgreen will perform "A Willowgreen Winter: Celtic Music for the Season" at 2 pm Sunday, Dec. 22 at Sacred Heart Music Center.

Scottish Celtic folk-trio Eira will open.

The seven-piece folk music group will stage traditional and contemporary holiday music from Ireland, Newfoundland, Scotland, Canada, U.S.A. and the rest of the Celtic music world. Their signature vocal style combined with instrumentation including harp, hammered dulcimer, bodhrán, guitars, button accordion, whistles and mandolin appeals to audiences of all ages.

Eira, featuring members of Willowgreen, performs more instrumental pieces and includes traditional work from around the world.

Advance e -tickets will go on sale at 10 am Friday, Nov. 1on Eventbrite for $15 (plus fees). Paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 while supplies last. Doors at 1 pm. Music at 2.
