Willow Weaving with Anna and the Willow: Hare

Join Anna and the Willow this August to create your own Willow Hare!

During this full day workshop, Anna will instruct you on the art of Willow weaving, giving you the practical skills to build your own creations. All materials & tools provided, and at the end of the end you'll walk home with your very own garden scultpure and willow weaving skills.

Willow weaving is hard on your hands & joints. Please be aware that a full day of making a sculpture or basket is physical. Gloves are optional but not necessary. If you would prefer to use gloves please bring a pair with you.

On the day: please arrive for a 10am start and 'check in' at the cafe building. We'll then point you in the direction to start your day. The Basket Workshop will run from 10am-4.30pm. There will be a break for lunch when ou are also free to explore the gardens - please feel free to bring your own pack up with you or order lunch from the cafe.

About Anna:

I've been working creatively with english willow for 11 years combining traditional skills with artistic practice. I make sculptures on commission for organisations, businesses, charities & private clients throughout the UK & internationally.

nB. this workshop requires a minimum of 6 people to run and a maximum of 10.
