Willow Egg Basket

This is a workshop for folk who have a few willow projects under their belt. The willow needs a confident hand to work around a wooden base.
About this Event

A stunning addition to your home to use as you please but looks fabulous full of egss.

This project teaches you how to weave a beautiful, functional gathering basket using a solid wood base rather than a traditional woven base.

It would be preferable that you have some experience weaving with willow.

The willow is a gorgous grey, green and sustainably grown locally and hand harvested in Northumberland.

Refreshments included.

Suitable for approx 16+ due to sharpe tools.

By bike, I have a yard to leave it in.

By metro, I am 5 mins walk between Cullercoats and Whitley Bay metro.

By car, there is non-permit parking 10m down from The Workshop, opposite on Alma Place, Margaret Road.
