Willow Creek is a multi-phase redevelopment of Bowles Park in the Blue Hills neighborhood of Hartford, CT that provides rental and homeownership opportunities. The project represents a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for mixed-income residents and strengthening the community through contextually appropriate sustainable design. These high performing homes utilize efficient technologies and systems to reduce resource consumption and utility bills. For residents living below the state median income, such savings make this housing truly affordable.

Phases I and II were LEED Gold certified.

Phase III will be PHIUS+Core certified and also meets Energy Star v. 3.1, Indoor airPLUS, LEED v4 Gold, DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes.

Certifications driven by funding incentives (CHFA) and Client’s/Design Team’s desire to implement as much green building as possible.

We will be able to see Phase III in various stages of construction.
