On Tuesday, March 28th at 6:30 the Williamsburg Civil War Roundtable will host J. Michael Moore at the Williamsburg Regional Library. This lecture is free and open to the public although we encourage you to join as a member of the Roundtable.
J. Michael Moore is the curator for Lee Hall Mansion and Endview Plantation in Newport News. Michael received a BA in History from Christopher Newport University and an MA in History from Old Dominion University. For twenty years, he has led battlefield tours in Maryland, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Virginia. Moore has co-authored two books, including Yorktown’s Civil War Siege: Drums Along the Warwick in 2012, and been published in many scholarly journals. Michael is known as one of Yorktown’s most prominent historians. He is a native of Newport News and lives in Historic Yorktown.
The Williamsburg Regional Library theater is located at 515 Scotland St., in downtown Williamsburg, Virginia.
