William Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream

This summer Entity Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s best-loved comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Theatron Westpark.

Join us for our 10-year anniversary of open-air Shakespeare with Entity Theatre!

THE STORY

Athens.

Four young members of the nobility run away to the forest only to have Puck Oberon’s fairy make both of the men fall in love with the same woman.

Why? An honest mistake.

The result? Confusion despair and a lot of chasing each other.

Incidentally someone is transformed into a donkey with whom the Fairy Queen Titania promptly falls in love. Also a wall will make an appearance as do lion and moonshine. And of course William Shakespeare.

Lord what fools these mortals be!

Performances will last approx. 90 minutes. Simply bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy our abridged version of Midsummer Night’s Dream.
