Grab a buddy and perform the inaugural William D. Whisenant "Whiz" Memorial Workout. This inclusive and scalable partner workout is designed to push athletes, new and veteran, beyond their perceived limits while creating lasting bonds through shared (but safe) suffering.
Will's family came together, partnering with Compound CrossFit to start a non-profit in his name to carry on Coach Will's legacy through fitness, fun, and friendship. All proceeds for this event will go to FYR WillPower.
FYR WillPower is the Coastal Virginia affiliate of Forging Youth Resilience (FYR) founded in memory of Chesapeake Police Officer William D. Whisenant. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers young people to build physical and mental strength for life by providing access to a network of community-based fitness programs and mentorship.
We use fitness to teach imperative life skills like perseverance, grit, determination, resilience, and confidence through teamwork, leadership, and goal setting to prepare our athletes to face the challenges life throws their way with grace, maturity, and strength.

Work -Team can split up the work however they wish. 1 person works, while the other person rests.
Double Squat Wall Balls - Take the wall ball shot, plus an air squat before catching/letting the ball drop.
Double Unders - The rope must pass through twice under the feet in 1 jump.
2041m Row - Row must be completed before, during, or after the 22 Rounds. *If rowing during the 22 Rounds, partner 1 will work on the movements while partner 2 rows. This is the only instance where both partners can work at the same time.

1 Rope Climb (15ft)
9 Double Squat Wall Balls (20/14 pounds to a 10/9 foot target)
52 Double Unders (The rope must pass through twice under the feet in 1 jump)
Row 2041 Meters (Must be completed before, *during or after)
Scaled
1 Rope Climb (Lower rope climb height, rope floor pulls, or 3-5 strict pull ups or ring rows)
9 Double Squat Wall Balls(16/10 pounds or 9 wall balls + 9 air squats or heavier than normal wall ball with regular wall ball shots)
52 Double Unders (Lower Number of reps, no long than 1 minute or 52 Single Unders)
