William Chris Guided Wine Tasting

Our fourth annual collaboration with our friends at William Chris Vineyards returns this month with the release of a new and exciting beer, Hill Country Cooler, a Cold IPA co-fermented with Picpoul grapes.

Join us on Saturday September 28th at Pinthouse Brewing from 2:30-4pm, for a sampling and education event in our private mezzanine with the William Chris crew and your pals at Pinthouse. This ticketed pop-up tasting room experience will be hosted by our Hill Country based buds at William Chris Vineyards. Tickets include a flight of four wines, plus a pour of our collaboration beer Hill Country Cooler, with a rare chance to enjoy a tasting led by William Chris Winemaker, Tony Offill. Wines poured that day will also be available for purchase.

With the return of this annual collaboration project, Tony will join a panel post flight including our own Director of Brewing Quality, Tom Fischer to discuss the parallels between producing an artisanal product, and the impacts of agriculture on both beer and wine. Topics covered in this panel will include how both producers celebrate and highlight those raw material inputs, the importance of grape/hop variety, site selection, and sustainability practices unique to our region.
