About this Event
The William Baker Festival Singers visit the magnificent Basilica of St. Josphat in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 50-voice semi-professional chorale will present a pre-service choral prelude beginning at 4:15 PM, and will sing liturical music and anthems at the 4:30 Vigil Mass on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Choral selections will include the double choir Faire Is the Heaven by William Harris, Stay With Us by Egil Hovland and works by Composers in Residence Ed Frazier Davis and Dr. Sean Sweeden, in addition to the Festival Singers signature American folk hymns and spirituals. The Vigil Mass is a religious service of Christian worship. Everyone is invited and there is no charge for admission.
