Join us for an unforgettable Independence Day celebration in one of New York City's most historic neighborhoods as Willett's commemorates both the Fourth of July and the 250th Anniversary of the United States.
Nestled at the historic entrance to the South Street Seaport, where merchants, sailors, and ships once connected New York to the world, Willett's invites you to spend the day surrounded by history while enjoying one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in America. From the cobblestone streets that have welcomed visitors for generations to the waterfront views that helped shape New York City's maritime legacy, there is no better place to celebrate the birth of our nation.
As the world-famous Macy's 4th of July Fireworks illuminate the skies above New York Harbor, you'll be enjoying the festivities from the heart of the Historic South Street Seaport—just steps from the waterfront and approximately 50 feet from the iconic Titanic Memorial Lighthouse, a monument honoring those lost aboard the RMS Titanic and one of the Seaport's most recognizable landmarks.

Prime Reserved Seating
Our Prime Seating Area features more than 100 reserved seats located on the historic cobblestones directly in front of Willett's at the gateway to the South Street Seaport and the center of the day's festivities.
Guests will enjoy full access to Willett's outdoor bars, specialty cocktails, ice-cold beer, and BBQ service throughout their reserved seating period while taking in the sights, sounds, and energy of New York City's largest Independence Day celebration.

Your reservation guarantees seating during your selected time slot. At the conclusion of your reservation period, those seats will be reserved for the next group of guests. The exception is the 8:00 PM seating, which remains yours through the conclusion of the fireworks display.

After enjoying your reserved seating, you're welcome to continue exploring the neighborhood, strolling the waterfront, visiting the historic piers, shopping, dining, or finding another favorite vantage point to enjoy the evening's festivities. Willett's outdoor bars and BBQ service will remain available throughout the day and evening.

Important Information About "Fireworks by the Bridge"
To avoid confusion, the 8:00 PM reservation is called "Fireworks by the Bridge" because the fireworks are launched from barges positioned near the Brooklyn Bridge—not because the seating is located next to the bridge.
Our tables are located directly in front of Willett's at the historic entrance to the South Street Seaport, which serves as one of the primary gateways into the Fourth of July festivities. From this location, guests will enjoy clear views of the fireworks while remaining in the heart of the historic Seaport district.
The area immediately surrounding the bridge is restricted and closed to the public for safety, as it serves as the launch zone for the fireworks barges. No public seating is available in that area.
Instead, Willett's offers a unique Independence Day experience in one of New York's most historic settings, featuring reserved seating, full BBQ service, specialty cocktails, ice-cold beer, and unobstructed views of the celebration just steps from the waterfront.
