Willcoxon Dream Big Career Day

You are invited to the Willcoxon Dream Big Career Day on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Missouri Southern State University! This event, hosted by Jasper County CASA, is scheduled from 10 AM to 2 PM with check-in opening at 9:15 AM.
This FREE event, sponsored by Dot Willcoxon and The Bramlage and Willcoxon Foundation, will provide career development resources to older youth (ages 14+) working toward their academic and career goals. Resources will be available for teens and young adults in foster care and individuals who have experienced personal and educational obstacles. We encourage supporters to attend such as family members, foster parents, caseworkers, Court Appointed Special Advocates, GALs, juvenile officers, educators, and other individuals who provide support to older youth.
Guest speakers will present engaging and interactive sessions on career-related topics such as:
-Self-Care & Self-Confidence to Power Your Career
-Career Path Panel - Featuring Speakers from Multiple Industries
-Find Your Fit: Exploring Careers That Match You
In addition to lunch and LOTS of door prizes, the event will highlight speakers and a resource fair with representatives from local organizations, such as:
-Joplin Job Center
-MSSU Financial Aid
-JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) Program at Joplin Schools
-Rapha Hope & Healing Center
-Crossland Construction
-Missouri Baptist Children's Home - Chafee Support Services for Teens in Foster Care
-Children's Center
-And more!
