With a sound truly unique to his own vision, Zach King, born and raised in Concord North Carolina, set out to make music with one intention in mind: To seek out answers for the quiet questions in life and answer them as honestly as he could. Through intimate lyrics and thoughtful expression, He combines the familiar with the unknown, intertwining them into his well-known indie-folk-like style to explore what it means to grow and change as an individual. From an early age, Alexa Jenson was picking out songs on her acoustic guitar in her bedroom. Starting out in open mics, she carved out a space for herself in the Charlotte arts scene. Now, after selling out the clubs she came up in, she’s ready to take on the world.
Armed with a heart full of basement pop sensibility, Alexa brings a unique voice to the indie scene; something that feels wholly influenced by the pitfalls of growing up in an increasingly unforgiving world, but with a fiery spirit that won’t quit. From quieter songs like “Fool in Love” that dissect the discomforts of admiration from afar, to the charged up songs like “Daylight” that exemplify feminine rage.
