Naarm/Melbourne-based saxophonist Will Larsen has been spending the last little while developing his trade in the busy freelance scene in town, working with a diverse range of artists and styles.
Will regularly performs and records with artists such as Ausecuma Beats, Sabor y Ritmo Headphones Jones, and Mount Kujo, and has contributed to releases by Alcides Neto, Bumpy, Watty Thompson, David Arden, and many others. These contributions have taken Will to festivals including Meredith, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Womadelaide, Dark Mofo, Strawberry Fields, Share the Spirit, and more.

This is Will's first time performing his compositions under his own name, with an assortment of compositions penned in late 2019 - early 2020, while listening to Joe Henderson's 70s & 80s works, along with the early works of Tigran Hamasayan and Ben Wendel.
Join us to farewell one of the northside's greatest spots, Open Studio, with crepes and cocktails.

In the case of feature ticketed shows, seating will be automatically assigned to all ticket holders, and please be aware that some tables are shared; no reservations are required for tables.
Limited seating is offered for all dance party events to allow for an open dance floor experience.
Open Studio offers a patio and an outdoor garden courtyard with seating.
Enjoy a variety of options, including sweet and savory crepes, cheese boards, jaffles, homemade nachos, cocktails, mocktails, and more, served until late. Vegan and Gluten Free options are available - please speak to staff if you have allergies.
