After Will's wonderful Solo Jazz concert last year, we are delighted that he is returning to Goodnestone, this time with Vocalist Sylvie Noble. This will be a fantastic concert to end this year's Goodnestone Music concerts.
Based in London, vocalist and composer Sylvie Noble pulls from eclectic influences across the musical spectrum, combining jazz and folk to create an entirely unique sound. Her most recent project is a duo collaboration with 2024 BBC Young Jazz Musician winner Ursula Harrison, with their debut album due for release in 2026. Performing across the UK at established venues such as Pizza Express Live and the Vortex, she combines fluent and experimental improvisation with evocative and soulful melodies, pushing the boundaries of genre.
Will Inscoe is a Jazz pianist, composer and arranger based in London. He studied Jazz Piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is now doing a Master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music where he is a recipient of the Laurin and Arthur Glaze trust award. Will performs regularly on the London jazz scene at venues such as Pizza Express, Ronnie Scott's and Oliver's jazz bar. He has played with Emma Smith, Matt Skelton, Danny Koo, Louise Marshall and most recently with John McLaughlin in Monaco.
Will and Sylvie's musical journey began when they started their masters degree together at the Royal Academy of Music. After discovering a shared love of Norma Winstone and John Taylor's album 'In Concert', they began playing regularly, building a unique sound of traditional jazz mixed with more contemporary, free improvisation and eventually composing together.
