Wildwood Drive is excited to announce that we will be back at The Island Lake Lions Club Annual Cornfest! Sunday August 20th at Watertower Park, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, (ok, until the beer is gone!) We will be joined, once again, by our musical friends Blindlogic and Blindspot. This year we are lucky to have a special appearance by Pete’s Diary, to add more fire to the fest! The fest will have corn, a beer tent, food served up by The Lioness Club, Games for all ages, Raffles, and of course live music all afternoon!The Lions Club is a Non-Profit Organization that provides vision and hearing services for Island Lake residents and much, much more. They truly are a staple of the community! Their mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. The Lions motto is "We Serve"
Please come out and support this amazing group of people. They always show the community a good time!
Blindpot will start things off at noon followed by Wildwood Drive at 2pm. Then Pete’s Diary will make a special appearance and Blindlogic will finish us up at 4pm. (until the beer is gone!)
