WildSide presents the 16th Annual Sin City Soirée

WELCOME BACK to WildSide's regularly scheduled Sin City Soirée!

We're back on track! After having to cancel our beloved Soirée in 2020 and early 2021, we found ourselves scrambling to find a way to circumvent the insanity of pandemic life and bring WildSide SAFELY back to our wonderful chosen family! Enter our first-ever Halloween version of the Soirée last October. We didn't know what to expect but the event turned out to be super-successful as 206 beautiful people made their way to the desert to celebrate the VWS way. While this time in our history has been unprecedented and we are all navigating uncharted waters, we want you to know that WildSide will always remain the same community-building, friend-making social celebration of visibility for our community that we’ve always been.

Even with the success over Halloween; we want to be as transparent as possible with you. The Vegas of pre-pandemic times that we all know and love is still not back to "normal". Venues that had been open to us in the past are either shuttered completely (like the VooDoo Lounge, The Studios), or on drastically reduced Thursday-Sunday schedules (like many casino night clubs and Strat's Sky Bar). We're also dealing with a casino industry that is doing everything they can to recoup their losses over the course of the pandemic, which means larger hurdles for us in hosting large-scale group events. What does this mean for us? It means we've been somewhat limited in what and where we can go and do to provide fun and innovative ways to keep our guests engaged and entertained. We've said it from day 1 that WildSide could be held in a barn and it would still be the best party of the year because it is not WHERE we are, it's WHO we are with.

That being said; we are doing all we can to provide fun and affordable entertainment options for our cherished guests. We will be utilizing more local, off-strip establishments and will be relying on our members to help out by presenting ideas for Hosted Events. What is a hosted event; you ask?

Hosted events are a way for you to be apart of the VWS organizing team and also a way to connect with our more intimate past as we manage an ever-growing family. In the old days, we could move around as a group of 20-30 and do things like dinners, limos and clubs together. That helped create some very special moments and a lot of bonding; as we were all “in this together”.

As our lil Soirée continues to grow, it’s a little more difficult to keep that real tight-knit feel we had in the early days. Hosted events help us to bring together more manageable groups of folks for concerts, shows, shopping trips, racing exotic cars, anything you like. If it fits with our schedule and event vision, you will be in control of planning the outing and we will promote it on our official itinerary. It’s an amazing thing when all of us are together but don’t be afraid to break off into a smaller group and explore of some spaces that a group of over 300 might have trouble getting into. We’re not breaking any news here, but there are still uncertainties around gatherings in 2022. As we got closer to the event in October, there were rising rates of infection throughout the country, and we did require proof of vaccination. WildSide is proud to share that we received no reports of our folx getting infected in October. SO AS OF NOW, WILDSIDE WILL NOT REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION TO ATTEND THIS YEAR'S SIN CITY SOIREÉ. Please note that this is subject to change at the discretion of the WildSide organizing team. When it comes to the safety of our guests, please know that we will be following local, state and federal guidelines and if that means we need to ask for proof of vaccination at a later date, that is a possibility. We ask WildSide and it's members to please respect all federal, state and local COVID-19 requirements.

In listening to our guests, WildSide is expanding it's hotel availability and will utilize both Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino AND Paris Las Vegas as the official homes of this year's Sin City Soirée. Conveniently located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, Bally's and Paris will provide our guests with a special WildSide group hotel rate. Folks that come to the event and stay off-site often regret having make constant trips to our hotels because that is where much of the action is, so save yourself the headaches of all that extra time, travel and money and stay with us at Bally’s or Paris.
