Beyond the Basics

This course will discuss camera bag essentials, understanding

camera settings ( ISO, Metering, Exposure Compensation,

Focusing and White Balance ), emphasis on composition to tell

a story, subject placement, camera equipment and lots of hints and tips.

Frank planned and guided photo tours in Newfoundland and also in Costa Rica /

Panama for eleven years. Worked in Ottawa and for many years here in Calgary

selling photography equipment. Was represented by three stock agencies both in

Canada and the US. Also judged photography competitions in Ottawa and

Calgary. And finally, has taught many individuals on how to use their equipment.

For the most part he is a self-taught photographer and gives credit to the many

professionals for their early guidance
