Spend a morning learning how to take better photos at the London Wetlands Centre
About this Event

Everyone has a camera or camera phone these days, and whether at home or off on a big trip, we love to take pictures of ourselves, landscapes, buildings and animals.

If you feel you’d like to take better wildlife shots, this workshop led by professional wildlife photographer Nick Dale is perfect for you – and a wonderful way to spend a summer Saturday morning!

Basing ourselves at the London Wetland Centre means we’ll be surrounded by wonderful photo opportunities during the practical element of the session. Keeping the group numbers small ensures lots of one-to-one time with Nick, so whether it’s technical knowledge, familiarity with your equipment or rules of composition, these can all be covered over coffee in the café at the start of your workshop. We’ll begin by going to the otter feeding then spend lots of time around the centre taking pictures, which we’ll review over coffee back in the café.

At the end of the class, feel free to spend more time practising your new-found skills, as the workshop price includes full day entry to the Wetlands Centre.

Nick Dale is a professional wildlife photographer, taking pictures in 25 countries on all seven continents and winning various awards including the Sunday Times/Audley Travel Big Shot.

In the event that the class is unable to go ahead due to the ongoing covid-19 virus situation, we will of course offer all participants the option of an alternative date or refund.
