Overview
Meetup at the Coyote Hills Visitor Center in Fremont, CA from 9AM-12PM to walk the trails as a group to photograph an assortment of birds and other wildlife in the area with an instructor to teach you about your subject and the settings recommended to capturing them. This will be a small group class and limited to only 15 attendees.
Coyote Hills Regional Park is a regional park encompassing nearly 978 acres of land and administered by the East Bay Regional Park District. The park, which was dedicated to public use in 1967, is located in Fremont, California, USA, on the southeast shore of the San Francisco Bay.
What You’ll Learn:
- The birds and wildlife that live in our area and some interesting facts about them
- How to capture great wildlife photographs
- Using your manual settings, like shutter speed, to prioritize freezing your subject in motion
What to Bring:
- Bring your camera that allows manual settings
- Wide-angle and telephoto lens (we offer rentals in store if you do not have one or the other)
- Multiple fully charged batteries
- Memory cards
- Monopod is optional, but for large lenses with a mount is recommended
- Binoculars are recommended
- Comfortable Walking Shoes
- Hat to protect yourself from the sun
Where to Park/How to get there:
