Wildlife Overwintering Strategies

As the season grows colder, wildlife begins taking shelter or passing until the warmer months return. However, some instead are adapted for the harsher conditions and may even only be seen during the winter! The variety of overwintering strategies is impressive, allowing us to enjoy wildlife all year round and where we least expect it. Join us for a guided wintery walk around Duke Farms to look for signs of life and showcase how they’re able to survive the elements.

We will be meeting first in the Farm Barn Orientation Center before departing for our program!
