We need your help! We are looking for veterinarians interested in working with wildlife rehabilitators. As you know, having a cooperating vet is a prerequisite for becoming a certified rehabilitator, yet many veterinary practices have been absorbed by larger entities and no longer accept wildlife patients. As a result, many aspiring rehabilitators are left in limbo, and experienced rehabilitators have lost their long-standing veterinary support.
To address this, we are hosting a four-hour wildlife medicine class on May 20th, designed to find and train veterinarians who may be interested in partnering with rehabilitators.
Please help us spread the word! Send the attached flyer to any veterinarians in your area and if you're able to print and drop it off at any local veterinary hospitals, all the better!
