Wildlife Day: Invasive Species Removal

Join us as we remove invasive plants from Clay Pit Ponds State Park Preserve to promote a balanced and healthy ecosystem. Bring your boots, long pants and socks, and the will to join the fight against invasive species! We will provide tools and gloves.

WHEN: Saturday, October 4th, 10am-1pm.

WHERE: Nature Interpretive Center. Please use our address to navigate to the park: 2351 Veterans Road West, Staten Island, NY 10309.

WHO: Ages 8+.

All programs are free! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If we are sold out, feel free to walk up and see if we have open spots.

Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather, call for updates. Please dress tick-safe by wearing hiking boots or sneakers, tall socks pulled up over pant legs, and bug spray.
