Wildlife Community Gardening - Market Road Gardens, N7, Tuesdays

If you enjoy being outside in nature, learning and sharing your gardening skills, and meeting new people, come along and join us. Sessions run from 10am to 12pm every Tuesday and Wednesday, and we always finish with a hot drink and biscuits.

This season we will be planting native hedges, and a myriad of other colourful or architectural plants to boost biodiversity in the park. We will also be making compost, pruning, sowing seeds, weeding, clearing paths, coppicing and creating/building/weaving insect habitat structures using logs, branches and leaves. We aim to make the park a beautiful place for the local community, and a haven for pollinators, birds and invertebrates too.

Everyone is welcome. We will provide gloves, tools, plants, guidance anbd refreshments. Under 16's must be with an adult.
