Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with the Friends of Green Cay on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.!Join us for Wildlife Celebration 2025 at Green Cay Nature Center & Wetlands—a free, family-friendly event filled with exciting activities for all ages. Get up close with live animals, enjoy guided wetland tours, explore the Birdhouse activity room, and discover local wildlife through interactive games, exhibits, and more. Plus, connect with over 20 environmental organizations sharing ways to engage with and protect our natural world.
Wildlife Celebration brings our community together to appreciate nature, learn about wildlife conservation, and have a great time outdoors. As an official World Migratory Bird Day event, we’ll join organizations around the globe in celebrating birds and the habitats they depend on.
This year’s theme, “Shared Spaces – Creating Bird-Friendly Cities and Communities,” highlights how urban environments can play a vital role in helping migratory birds thrive. Learn how thoughtful planning, habitat creation, and everyday actions can make a lasting difference for both wildlife and people.
