Is your child interested in the world of wildlife care? Or have they participated in one of our Wildlife Camps and loved it? Join our wildlife team for this half-day Wildlife Care Apprenticeship program! Your child will spend the afternoon meeting the ambassadors, providing them with food and enrichment, and then heading outdoors for an adventure to look for wildlife on the Blandford property.
Similar to our Wildlife Camps, this program allows your child to get hands-on experience with wildlife. Each program features a different animal group of focus: Herptiles, Mammals, and Birds. This program will focus on mammals!
You have the option to sign your child up for one or multiple days of this program for their age group! Participants who sign up for one day of this program will receive a Blandford vintage vinyl logo sticker. Those who sign up for two or three days will receive a screen-printed Blandford shirt.
Please note: This is a drop-off program and you will receive a registration confirmation email with more details.
Price:
Teen Members: $60/half-day
Teen Non-members: $70/half-day
Cancellation Policy: Notice must be received at least 7 days before the scheduled program to receive a 75% refund. There will be no refunds issued after that time. Due to processing fees, full refunds are not available. All Community Programs will be held unless there is severe weather. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather. All Community Programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
