Wildlife Care Apprentices (Ages 10-15)

Is your child interested in the world of wildlife care? Join our wildlife team for this half-day Wildlife Care Apprenticeship program! Similar to our Wildlife Camps, this program allows your child to get a hands-on experience with Blandford’s wildlife ambassadors. Participants will spend the afternoon meeting the ambassadors, providing them with food and enrichment, and then heading outdoors for a wildlife-seeking adventure on the Blandford property. Participants will go home with a Blandford vintage logo vinyl sticker and stories to tell of their fun afternoon!
This is a drop-off program for children ages 10-15, so allergy and emergency information is required for all registrants. For more information, please email [email protected]. Our Wildlife Programs Specialist, Sarah Peterson, will be leading this program and will be assisted by our wildlife volunteers and Wildlife Manager.

Non-Members: $75
Members (20% discount): $60
Note: This program is teens ages 10-15. Pre-registration is required. Online registration closes at noon the day before the program. If the program sells out, you may complete your online registration to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available. This program will take place indoors and outdoors. Please dress for the weather. In the event of severe weather, this program may be cancelled, and participants will be notified of their refund options.
